The Design:

The starting point for Pippa and Jason's invitation was an illustration of the home where they were married, created by one of Pippa's friends. Portraying their family home was an important part of the design, so we worked together to refine the illustration before it went to print.

Pippa's original vision was for the illustration to be printed as a blind deboss, but the fine architectural detail called for a slightly darker ink tone instead. This allowed the intricate linework to print with clarity while preserving the soft, tactile quality that makes letterpress so distinctive.
