Fabriano Accademia is a high-quality, acid-free, lignin-free paper with a lightly textured surface and excellent versatility. While traditionally produced as a drawing paper, we've found it to be an exceptional choice for relief printmaking. It takes ink beautifully, can be lightly dampened to enhance the printed impression, and performs equally well for both hand printing and press printing.

Why we love it at The Armarie Room:

This is the paper we use throughout our relief printing and letterpress workshops, as well as for proofing work in the studio. It prints beautifully, performs equally well by hand or on the press, and offers an excellent balance of quality and value when developing new ideas. For finished edition prints, we would typically move to a premium printmaking paper, but for learning, experimenting and proofing, Fabriano Accademia is hard to beat.
