The Design:
Greer and Cohen’s stationery began with a colour palette developed with Roam Events, a love of botanical forms and a vision for something layered and dimensional. With the wedding taking place on the family property, the garden became the inspiration. Silk tree flowers and conifers were chosen as significant elements, illustrated and cut to follow their natural outlines.
These botanical forms were layered with other printed pieces throughout the collection, creating the depth and sculptural feel the couple had envisioned. Mount Starveall, overlooking the property and holding particular meaning for Greer’s family, was incorporated into the conifer artwork. Carefully selected paper stocks brought the palette, artwork and styling together.
For the place cards, craftsmanship was particularly important. Greer wanted each guest to leave with something meaningful to keep — a small reminder of the celebration.
