HWAHONG | Soft Rubber Rollers

from $33.00

Made in South Korea, the HWAHONG Soft Rubber Rollers are an excellent choice for relief printmaking. Featuring a high-quality rubber surface with an aluminium core, sturdy brackets and a comfortable wooden handle, they deliver smooth, even ink coverage and excellent durability.

Available in a wide range of sizes, from 10 mm through to 300 mm, they're suitable for everything from fine detail and small blocks to larger printing surfaces.

Why we love them at The Armarie Room:

These have quickly become one of our favourite rollers in the studio. The comfortable wooden handle and beautifully finished rubber surface provide excellent ink coverage, while the wide range of sizes—including narrow rollers—is perfect for inking fine details, small areas and those all-important finishing touches.

Recommendations:

  • Suitable for both oil-based and water-based relief inks.

  • Resistant to solvents, although we recommend using non-toxic cleaners wherever possible.

  • For cleaning, we recommend our water-soluble roller cleaner. It effectively removes ink while conditioning the rubber surface and helping to prevent glazing. You can find this HERE

  • Store resting on the frame or hanging to help maintain the roller's shape.
